Hamdan Awan and Chun Tung's Paper Titled " Molecular Circuit-based Transmitters and Receivers for Molecular Communication Networks"  has been accepted for presentation at the 2017 IEEE 18th International Workshop on Signal Processing Advances in Wireless Communications (SPAWC) to be held in Sapporo, Japan in July 2017.


January 2017

Hamdan Awan presented a Poster titled "Demodulation of Reaction Shift Keying Signals in Molecular Communication with Complex Receiver Circuits" at IEEE Australian Communications Theory Workshop AusCTW, Canberra, Australia, 18-20 January 2017.  He has also been awarded  Travel Funds of  $400 AUD by  AusCTW Organizers to attend the workshop.


Decemeber 2016

"Professor Mahbub Hassan has been invited by the Indian Government's Global Initiative of Academic Networks (GIAN) to deliver a short course on Nanoscale Wireless Networking. Prof. Hassan will deliver the course at the National Institute of Technology, Goa, India, 19-24 December 2016."

Hamdan Awan and Chun Tung's Paper "Generalized Solution for the Demodulation of Reaction Shift Keying Signals in Molecular Communication Networks" has been accepted for publication in the IEEE Transactions on Communications.



NOVEMBER 2016


A Workshop on the Interface of Biology and Computer Science is being co-organized by Chun Tung Chou on Thur 8 Dec 2016 9:50am-1:30pm in UNSW Ainsworth building 101.

The aim of this workshop is to bring together staff, researchers and research students from the School of Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences (BABS) and the School of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at UNSW to discuss research problems of interest to both schools. The workshop will feature 4 short talks from each school. The link below will take you to the workshop program.



AUGUST 2016

Eisa Zarepour has been shortlisted for the 2015 Malcolm Chaikin Prize. Eisa has been selected as one of the three finalists for this prize which is the best PhD thesis award  in the Faculty of Engineering. His thesis titled  "Efficient Communication Protocols for Wireless Nanoscale Sensor Networks". Eisa was graduated in 2015 and now serves as a research fellow at Sharif University of Technology which is the first ranked Engineering University in Iran.

Hamdan Awan's Paper Titled
Reducing the Effect of Reaction Rate Constants on the Performance of Molecular Communication Networks has been accepted in ACM NanoCom 2016 to be held in NewYork.


June 2016
